The Minnesota River: Report to the Upper Mississippi River Reservoir and Minnesota River Valley Development Interim Commission

The Upper Mississippi Reservoir and Minnesota River Valley Development Commission was established by the Minnesota State Legislature to consider the issue of development in the valley. Designed to provide information to the Commission, this report addresses flood, irrigation, recreational, economic, and development problems in the Minnesota River Valley. Appendices include a table of river discharges at Mankato from 1903-1957, a bibliography, and a brief list of public agencies that influenced the Minnesota River as of 1960.
