Minor watershed number(s): 33070, 30030, 30047, 32042, 30049, 25161 For this study, collection of samples occurred from fourteen Minnesota River main stem and twelve tributary sites. Samples were collected in the following minor watersheds: 33070, 30030, 30047, 32042, 30049, 25161. The Biological and Toxicological Assessment component of the Minnesota River Assessment Project (MRAP) includes studies which assist in defining existing conditions in the Minnesota River and it's tributaries. This ambient toxicity study is completed as a part of the Biological and Toxicological component of the Minnesota River Assessment Project (MRAP). The study assesses the toxicity of sediment and ambient water samples collected in all four seasons from 1989-1992. Sediment and ambient water samples came from the Minnesota River's main stem, four reservoirs, and eight tributaries. Samples collected from five minor watershed sites had ambient toxicity tests performed on them in 1992. |
