Data Summary |
Dakota County Planning and Program Management Department completed a countywide physical features database in 1992 using aerial photos flown from 1988-1992. The land cover/land use data are continuously updated. The Scott County Surveyor's Office inventories and updates land cover/land use information from aerial photography flown in areas of the county in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998. This information includes buildings, roads, trails, wetlands, contours, drainage ways, driveways, shorelines, swamps and wooded areas. The Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) completed a countywide land cover/land use survey in 1996. |
