Data Summary Carver County Environmental Services monitors tritium levels in ground water throughout the county. The data includes sites monitored since 1993. McLeod County Environmental Services maintains records from well water testing programs. The Sibley County Water Plan Coordinator conducted a survey of well water quality in ten townships from 1991 to 1992. Manure Application Acres

Data Summary McLeod County Environmental Services maintains a partial inventory of manure applied acres for the county. The manure applied acre inventory is updated as feedlot permits are issued. This county is part of the University of Minnesota Manure Management Project. The Sibley County Feedlot Officer and Water Plan Coordinator maintain the records of manure applied acres associated with permitted feedlots. Precipitation Monitoring

Data Summary Carver County participates in the Minnesota State Climatology Office Rain Guage Network. McLeod County participates in the Minnesota State Climatology Office Rain Guage Network. Sibley County participates in the Minnesota State Climatology Office Rain Guage Network. SCMCCWPP sponsors a volunteer rain guage reader network. This volunteer rain guage reader network reports daily precipitation during the growing season (May through September) to their county Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD). These data are sent to the Water Resources Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato, for entry into the Minnesota State Climatology database and for generation of contour precipitation maps. These data have been collected since 1992.
