Surface Water Quality Monitoring

Data Summary Cottonwood River Restoration Project, Phase I - Diagnostic (CWP) includes surface water quality data collected from ten sites in the Cottonwood River Watershed in 1997 and five sites in 1998. Collection of storm event and baseline samples occurred using automated samplers and grab sample techniques. Sample analysis includes the following parameters: Total Suspended Solids, Total Suspended Volatile Solids, Ammonia, Nitrate/Nitrite-Nitrogen, Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen, Phosphate, Total Phosphorus, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Fecal Coliform, Total Coliform, and Fecal Streptococci. Parameters measured in the field include Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Temperature, and pH.
