"The first thing I did was restore this wetland, broke the tile, and I feel probably the best about this than anything that we've done."

Wetland Restoration
Video Text: "The water that drained from this farmland drained into my farm pond, which I thought initially was a good deal but if the crop that was up here happened to be corn and there was a heavy nitrogen fertilization of it, then my pond would turn green. The first thing I did was restore this wetland, broke the tile, and feel probably the best about this than anything that we've done."

Prairie Restoration - Curley’s Prairie
"There were constant thorns in the farmers who had to farm it. The water that drains from this tile line drains into my farm. Which I thought initially was a good deal. I even have wild rice out there and it’s just starting. This is the second year for it. I can show you how tall it is. Twenty of the 55 acres are restored here. Oh I suppose there is more than 20 because I restored the trees too. So about half of it has been restored."
