Five Senses Snowshoe Hike - Cancelled

Due to icy and unsafe conditions (especially at the dark with no lights) the Five Senses Hike scheduled for 7 p.m. on February 21^st (Saturday) at Minneopa State Park has been cancelled.  Instead I will be offering an Adventure Hike at 10 a.m. on the 21^st.  We will meet at the Group Campground and go for a hike down to the confluence with the Minnesota River.  From there we will walk down the frozen Minneopa Creek.  Please be prepared for challenging and uneven conditions.  If you have poles I would suggest bringing them along.  The trail has bare, packed snow and icy spots.  If you know of anyone who planned to attend the Five Senses Hike please let them know about the cancellation.
