Fertilizer and Pesticide Best Management Practice (BMP) data has been collected since 1992 through various projects and studies of the FANMAP. Examples of data from FANMAP projects are: amount of pesticide or fertilizer applied per acre of particular crop cover, fertilizer and pesticide application recommendations for different crop covers, amount of manure generated by different livestock types, and nutrient content of different manure types.
