Data Summary |
The Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) in Minnesota combines the benefits of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and the Reinvest in Minnesota (RIM) Program. The goals of CREP are to gain water quality benefits from reduced sediment and nutrient input to the Minnesota River and mitigate flood damage occurring within the Minnesota River Basin. This is a new program which started in 1997. Most accurate information may be obtained at the local level. Data are acres of parcels enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) by county.
