Wolf Ecology

Friday, July 26, 2013
7:30 p.m.

Wolves have been feared, sentimentalized and slaughtered, yet they somehow have managed to resist extinction.  The wolf is a complex, controversial and colorful creature that was once found throughout Minnesota before almost being wiped out.   We will talk about some of the more interesting characteristics of wolves and read accounts of human interactions with this animal. Meet at the playground at the Day Use Area near the swimming pond.
