Snowshoe Hike

Going for a snowshoe hike is a wonderful way to enjoy winter and a landscape covered in snow.  We will take a hike across the snow-covered terrain as a way to embrace winter's natural environment.  On this hike the Minneopa Area Naturalist will share some of the history of snowshoeing, tips on the different types of snowshoes, and fun places at Minneopa State to go snowshoeing.  This sport is one of the simplest and safest ways to get outdoors during the winter.  Please meet at the picnic area on the campground side of Minneopa State Park.

Minnesota State Park pass ($5 daily or $25 yearly) is required and can be purchased at the park.
