River Revival: Working Together to Save the Minnesota River Showing

The Nicollet County Historical Society will be showing the film documentary, "River Revival: Working Together to Save the Minnesota River at 7:00 p.m. at the Treaty Center in St Peter.  John Hickman, executive director, will be a special guest to discuss the process of making this documentary.  "River Revival" tells the story of the Minnesota River Basin from its geological origins to the present day.  Through the seasons and throughout the basin, the documentary examines the river's many pollution problems and highlights the efforts of people from all walks of life - academics, farmers, natural resource professionals, anglers, homeowners, students, paddlers, politicians and citizen advocates - to restore the river.  The documentary is produced by the Water Resources Center at Minnesota State University Mankato and hosted by outdoors advocate, Ron Schara of Minnesota Bound TV Show.
