Nature Hike

Sunday, September 6, 2015
4 p.m.

Go for a nature hike through the woods of Fort Ridgely State Park to learn about some the unique natural and historical characteristics of the area.  Along the way we will stop to talk about some of the plants, wildlife, trees and geology of this area.  A hike is a great way to experience the natural world around us.  The total distance is around 2 miles and it will take us around an hour and half.  Be prepared for some steep and rough terrain.    Please meet at the Campground Picnic Shelter.
