Minneopa Creek Watershed Tour

Saturday, June 8, 2013
4:30 p.m.

A guided tour by the Minneopa Area Naturalist and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency watershed scientist will help put in perspective what makes this watershed unique.  We will stop at ten different stops to talk about various natural and historical characteristics of the watershed.  Minneopa Creek begins in western Blue Earth County near Lieberg Lake and meanders eastward before falling over 40 feet at the state park and finally flowing into the Minnesota River.  On this auto tour you will be driving your own vehicle.  Please meet at the picnic area on the campground side of Minneopa State Park.
