Harvest Fest

Families will enjoy an evening of old fashioned outdoor fall fun at Minneopa State Park.   Stop by at any time between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Stay for the evening or join in the fun for an hour.  Meet in the group campground area and enjoy a warm bonfire while waiting to go for a hayride through the park.  There will be activities for the kids and hot chocolate and marshmallows for everyone.  Guests are invited to bring their own hot dogs, meat or other food to grill.  Families may also want to take a short hike down a candle-lit trail before heading home. 

The event is co-sponsored by the Friends of Minneopa, a nonprofit, volunteer organization of citizens interested in preserving, managing and promoting the resources of the park.
