Ecology Games

Have some fun exploring the natural world around us through a variety of hands-on activities.  We will play the Incredible Journey game by pretending you are a water drop moving through the water cycle made up of nine stations.  In addition there will be the chance to identify 15 animal tracks and test your knowledge of what signs a variety of mammals live behind.  Finally there will be macroinvertebrates to look at pulled from Minneopa Creek.  Macroinvertebrates are aquatic insects that tell us how good or bad the water quality is in a stream.   Meet at the picnic area on the campground side of Minneopa State Park.
