Amphibians

Saturday, August 22, 2015
4 p.m.

Fourteen different species of toads and frogs are found in Minnesota including the Northern Leopard Frog, American Toad and Gray Treefrog.  These tailless amphibians or anurans are usually associated with wet areas but become land dwellers later in their lifecycle.  A hike through the woods and along a wetland will allow us to go in search of frogs and toads and a hands-on opportunity to learn more about them in their habitat.  Be prepared to get wet and muddy.  Meet at the Group Campground on the campground side of the park
