Adventure Hike

If you are looking for an adventure come out to Minneopa State Park on October 11^th (Saturday) for an Adventure Hike 9 a.m.  We will take a hike from the bottom of the lower waterfalls down to the tunnel underneath County Highway 169.   

The hike will take place on some uneven and rocky terrain (the dry creek bed) for about a mile down and back.  On the way we will talk about some of the natural and historical characteristics of Minneopa State Park including how the double waterfalls formed. 

Meet at the waterfalls picnic shelter.  Please wear sturdy boots and bring along water and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.  The hike should take anywhere from an hour and half to two hours
