State of the Minnesota River: Surface Water Quality Monitoring Reports

From 2000-2008 a multi-agency team annually reviewed and evaluated water quality data and prepared State of the Minnesota River Water Quality Monitoring Reports. Two reports were typically produced, a summary and full report. The executive summaries provide a broad overview of the findings and range from six to 16 pages. The full reports consolidate surface water quality monitoring information collected across the Minnesota River Basin. Reports summarize water quality monitoring at four Minnesota River mainstem locations, fourteen major tributaries, and numerous minor tributaries. Full reports include detailed data analyses and summaries and range up to 120 pages.

Water quality monitoring information can now be found on a variety of websites.
