Hey River Enthusiasts,

Riverside Park in New Ulm, Minnesota comes alive this Labor Day Friday and Saturday the 3rd and 4th. Events include free camping right in the park, free boat rides, free canoe rides in a 28 ft. canoe, free kayaking, free live entertainment, food, refreshments, 10 K run, Jurassic Survivor obstacle course, farmers market, river information, free face painting, various cool items for sale, fishing, and just hanging out enjoying the scene. Join your family of the river for our yearly reunion.

BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS. FREE CAMPING IN 2 RIVER PARKS. TENTS, CAMPERS, RV'S OR UNDER THE STARS. BRING YOUR BYCYCLES AND TRY OUT NEW ULM'S LATEST PROUD ADDITION: A 5 MILE PAVED BIKE/HIKE TRAIL WITH ACCESS RIGHT FROM RIVERSIDE PARK.

The event opens on Friday at 5 P.M. with entertainment from Van Gogh's Ear playing all your classic rock and roll hits from the last 30 years. Then the extrememly entertaining 6 Mile Grove from Rochester, MN takes the stage at 9 P.M. with their versitile original rock to contemporary alternative sounds that have made them the talk of the region.

On Saturday, the event opens for all activities at 10 A.M. Entertainment kicks off at noon with the great folk duo of Coyote Moon, followed at 1 P.M. by the Rockin' Blues sounds of Who's Your Daddy. Then brace yourself at 5:30 P.M. for the great Rock music of of the Tin Box Kings, with a special appearance by Astro trooper. Wrapping up the evening at 8:30 P.M. is the incomparable legend of the Blues guitar Howard "Guitar" Luedtke and Blue Max.
