POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT – WATER QUALITY ANALYST

The Water Resources Center will be hiring a Water Quality Analyst to join our team here at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The incumbent will assist with and/or lead the Blue Earth Turbidity TMDL Study, the Lake Crystal Clean Water Partnership, the Minnesota River Monitoring Project, and other projects in conjunction with federal and state agencies, non-profit organizations, counties, and private foundations.

The compensation is very competitive with similar positions and a full state benefits package, including health, life, dental, retirement, and pre-tax options is included. This position is initially limited to three years; however, the position has the strong potential to convert to permanent after the third year if the successful applicant does an outstanding job and funds are available.
