Lake Hanska Watershed Wet Area Inventory

The project area is the Lake Hanska lakeshed, including minor watersheds 31041, 31043, and 31053 located within the Watonwan River Major Watershed.

The Department of Natural Resources in New Ulm, Minnesota completed the Lake Hanska Watershed Wet Area Inventory in 1997. The project is completed by DNR interns who identified wet areas from 1993 aerial photographs and entered those larger than one acre into GIS ArcView.




Wetlands

Data Summary Lake Hanska Watershed Wet Area Inventory includes data from the identification of wet areas larger than one acre using color aerial slides from 1993. MN-DNR developed the data and entered it into GIS ArcView. This wet area inventory was completed in 1997.
