Collection of samples for this study occurred from four sites within the Minnesota River Basin. The Biological and Toxicological Assessment component of the Minnesota River Assessment Project (MRAP) includes studies which assist in defining existing conditions in the Minnesota River and it's tributaries. This organic pollutant study is completed as a part of the Biological and Toxicological component of the Minnesota River Assessment Project (MRAP). The study attempts to correlate impacts of organic chemicals on fish to those presently found in the Minnesota River system. Collection of fish samples from four sites within the Minnesota River Basin occurred in the fall of each year from 1989-1992. Two sites are located on the Minnesota River mainstem and two on upstream tributaries. |
