Area Location and Definition:

The project site is located in Scott County in the SW 1/4, SW 1/4, Section 9, Township 114N, Range 23W, Sand Creek Township. This site lies within the Lower Minnesota River Major Watershed, minor watershed 33111.

Project Description:

The Pasquarette Grade Stabilization consists of an earthen dike with a core trench and metal pipe outlet contructed at the head of a gully. The metal pipe outlet is a 12 inch diameter CMP with hood inlet assembly. A drain filter will be used under the dike and along the pipe to intercept subsurface seepage. A rock line channel will be installed at the outlet of the pipe. The photos below show the project site prior to construction.
