High Island Creek Park

 


High Island Creek is located along the bluffs of the Minnesota River Valley and is a favorite of horseback riders. This Sibley County park was established in 1968 and consists of 200 wooded acres.
High Island Creek Park
High Island Creek Park is open to people wanting to camp, picnic or just relax on a warm summer day. The park features picnic shelters, vault toilets, grills, picnic tables and plenty of open space to enjoy a game of volleyball.
High Island Creek Park
You can get down to High Island Creek from the main part of the county park but it is a fairly long hike down a pretty steep trail. This section of the creek is a popular paddle among members of the Mankato Paddling Club.
