High Island Creek - Best Management Practices

Best Manage men Practices (BMPs) are practices, techniques or measures for preventing or reducing nonpoint source pollution to levels compatible with water quality goals. By recognizing that individual BMPs have limited effectiveness, they are often discussed in terms of combinations, which together can attain substantial non-point source reduction benefits and help address water quantity concerns.
