Chippewa River Watershed.
Chippewa River Watershed Project. The site describes
the Chippewa River Watershed Project's activities, goals, monitoring
programs, and implementation projects and provides up to date information
about the watershed. The CRWP is a non-regulatory, cooperative partnership
and citizen based approach focused on improving water quality and watershed
life in the Chippewa River and its tributaries.
High Island Watershed.
Hamline University. This site describes the High Island
Watershed Assessment Project, a Clean Water Partnership with the Minnesota
Pollution Control Agency. The High Island Watershed is a sub watershed
of the Lower Minnesota River Major Watershed.
Lower Minnesota River
Watershed. Friends of the Minnesota Valley and Lower Minnesota
River Watershed Initiative. The LMRW resource is a networking
spot for the diverse group of people concerned with water quality in
the Lower Minnesota River Watershed-- local agencies and neighborhood
groups, non-profit organizations and businesses, project volunteer and
homeowners, learners and educators, students and teachers. The purpose
of this site is to facilitate information access and exchange within
this diverse group to help reaching the common goal creating a healthier
river and watershed.
Maple River Watershed - Clean Water Partnership.
Blue Earth County Soil and Water Conservation District. The Maple River is located in the Le Sueur River Basin in south-central Minnesota.
It encompasses 342 square miles in Blue Earth and Faribault Counties.
Minnesota River Basin. Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
This site has information on the Minnesota River, major watersheds,
pollutants, basin management, Minnesota River Weekly Update Newsletter.
Minnesota River Basin Information Page. Department of Soil,
Water, and Climate, University of Minnesota. This site has
information on each major watershed for water quality, flow, slope steepness,
erosion potentials, drainage status, land use statistics, proximity
to streams, growing degree days, soil geomorphic groups, and precipitation.
Redwood-Cottonwood Rivers Control
Area. RCRCA. This site provides information about
the Cottonwood River and Redwood River, watershed goals and objectives,
stream monitoring results, watershed activities, and conservation grant
