The models estimated water quality based on lake morphometry, watershed characteristics and Grant County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) land use information. Perkins Lake - Lake Assessment Project (LAP) includes data from a watershed assessment which used the MINLEAP and Reckow and Simpson models to estimate water quality of Perkins Lake based on morphometry and watershed characteristics. These computer models provide a means to compare measured water quality of a lake to predicted water quality.
