A Bend in the River: The Story of the Mankato Community and the Minnesota River   explores the relationship of the Mankato and North Mankato communities to the Minnesota River, from the benefits of wildlife and recreation, to the disaster of flooding, and from our past, to our future. 
Explore the Basin  with Photographer Ron Bolduan to experience educational photos and fun artifacts of the Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway and the Minnesota River Birding Trail.
Joseph R. Brown Minnesota River History Center  is designed to educate children and students on the amazing geological formation of the Minnesota River Basin.

The Minnesota River Birding Trail  spans the basin from its headwaters near the South Dakota border to its confluence with the Mississippi River in the Twin Cities and promotes the beauty, wildlife, natural habitats, and recreational opportunities of this unique region.
The Minnesota River Expedition  is a three-week course offering high school students a chance to earn a full credit in Natural Science. 
The Minnesota River Network  is a component of Rivers of Life that connects students and teachers within the Minnesota River Basin to each other and to their local water planners and state agencies.  It also generates awareness of cultural and natural history and supports river stewardship projects.

Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center  offers immersion programs which involve direct observation and participation in outdoor experiences and focus on ecology and science, human culture and history, personal growth, group building and outdoor recreation.
Eagle Watch Incorporated  fosters environmental stewardship through conservation, research and education in the Upper Mississippi River region; to create a new generation of citizen scientists participating in field ecological investigations; to appreciate the bald eagle as a symbol of our cultural heritage; and to celebrate eagles as a symbol of the success of Federal and State endangered species recovery efforts.
